APP-1576

For clients with Account Related Applicants feature enabled, this change removes the question "Do you hold a formal title or position within this business?". This question caused users confusion and resulted in an increase in drop off rates. Instead we will always create a relationship between the person & organization in the core. For clients whose core prohibits person & organization relationships unless they are a beneficial owner the customer to customer relationship will only be created for either control prongs or ownership prongs.

Note: we have also moved the Organization Role & Title fields to the bottom of the person profile for a better experience.

This does not impact the In-Branch application flow, that question will still be present to allow bankers the flexibility to determine if the customer-to-customer relationship should be created.

Minor and Fiduciary account update:

Update to the Console experience when adding a person to an application, the primary Email Address field can now be configured to be required, optional, or disabled for specific roles. This mirrors the existing Self-Serve experience and the Update Person experience.

ENH-1344

All self-serve application dead-end views will now include a CTA called "Browse Products" that redirects customers back to the self-serve "/products" page.

PART-163

If a user has previous applications that were KYC rejected, MANTL will now send a count of those applications to KYC providers for use in decisioning. This applies to institutions that have configured workflows to allow applicants to reapply.

Google Analytics Update
Google Analytics has released a new version “Google Analytics 4” (GA4). To support this update, MANTL will be replacing event names with GA4 compatible names. The new names are available to use now and can be referenced here where they are labeled “GA4 Event”. The old event names will be available until June 28th, at which point they will be deprecated.

Action required: Update Google Analytics event names to new GA4 event names documented here.

Update to add two columns to the consumer_applications and business_applications tables in Console Reports and DirectSQL:

Funnel_stage which will be an integer that represents the furthest funnel stage an application has reached
Funnel_stage_description describes the stage

Funnel stages are as follows:

Consumer Applications:
1. Completed Basic Info
2. Completed Address
3. Completed Identity
4. Funding Completed
5. Submitted Application

Business Applications:
1. Completed Person Info
2. Completed Business Info
3. Completed Ownership Info
4. Completed Funding
5. Submitted Application

This will be released to UAT on 5/29 and to Production on 5/30

We are changing the name of a column in Data Export and Console Reports from 'Time to Submit Application (Minutes)' to 'Time to Submit Application in Minutes' in order to remove special characters from column titles that can interfere with some data processing systems and conform with all other reported columns. Specifically, this column will be removed from the Simplified Business Applications Report and the Simplified Consumer Applications Report.

Update to delete the Device ID column from Reports. This column, provided by Heap does not capture any data and all records are NULL. We will be removing this empty column from all reports where it was included--specifically the Simplified Acquisitions Report and Simplified Behavior Report.

DENG-3198

In order to enable users of MANTL's Reports to see when a row in a report was last synced with the MANTL database, we are adding a column to every report called 'MANTL Last Synced At'. This column will show the timestamp of the time at which the row was added to the report or at which the row was last checked for any updates in the MANTL system.

In Data Export and Console Reports, this column will be provided as a string value in the downloaded CSV, formatted in EST time. For example: '2024-01-01 12:01:01'
In Direct SQL, the new column will be included in all reports as a BigQuery TIMESTAMP data type. It will not be added to Raw Views in Direct SQL, which are realtime.

Upcoming Data Export Change

Data Export Upgrade

Action required: Between May 16th and June 4th, you will need to update any processes that depend on the files delivered to your Data Export bucket to switch from using the old file names to the new file names. This is necessary in order to ensure that you continue to receive the most up-to-date data.

MANTL will be making several critical upgrades to our Data Export infrastructure that enable Data Export to handle larger volumes of data. This upgrade will include two changes that affect existing data ingestion processes for customers:

New File Names - As part of this upgrade we will be bringing the report names in Data Export into alignment with MANTL’s existing report documentation, wherein reports are divided into Simplified and Raw Reports. The table below provides a map of the old filenames to the new filenames.
Consolidation of Applications Report - The Raw Application reports are currently spread across separate files for consumer/business deposit create account, consumer deposit add secondary owner, business update person, and business add secondary owner. All of these reports contain the same columns and they will be consolidated into one raw_reports__applications file going forward. Different application types in this report will be distinguishable by the `type` field. See the table below for a detailed mapping of old-to-new report names.

We will provide the upgraded reports in parallel over the course of the next month to ensure a sufficient amount of time to update downstream data ingestion processes. Our timeline for changes to data export is as follows:

On Thursday, May 16, 2024, we will
- Begin providing the enhanced reports to your Data Export Report bucket alongside all existing reports.
- Stop updating the “old” reports in your UAT buckets.
On Thursday, June 4, 2024 we will stop updating the old report files. The old report files will remain available in the bucket for the time being, but beginning June 4th, they will cease to be updated on a regular basis and the new-file-name report files will be the source of up-to-date information for each report.
