Users of Console Reports and Analytics have historically had to interact with two different timezones. Dashboard filters were interpreted in the US Eastern time zone, while the contents of reports (e.g. the times shown in the Application Created At column in the Consumer Applications Report) were reported in Universal Time Coordinated (UTC). Beginning on Thursday, December 14, 2023, all time zones will default to US Eastern. For example, if a user sets the Consumer Applications Reports dashboard to filter to all applications created between 9:00AM December 4th, 2023 and 3:00PM December 4th, 2023, that filter will be interpreted in US Eastern time. Additionally, the formatted contents reports of the reports (e.g. the “Created At” and “Updated At” columns) will be shown in US Eastern. While the filtering functionality applies only to reports downloaded from the Console, the updated time zone formatting applies also to reports downloaded from Data Export API. Note that these changes will not apply to “raw” data shown in the Raw Reports such as the “response_payload” column in the KYC/AML Evaluations Raw Report. Users who want to filter and receive reports in a time zone other than US Eastern will also have the ability to change their time zone by selecting the three vertical dots in the top right corner of the dashboard, clicking “Each tile’s time zone”, and selecting their choice from the available options. Time zone selections made here will not be saved and need to be made each time the dashboard is accessed as illustrated in the screenshot below. Additionally, for downloaded timestamps to render in a custom time zone selected by the user, the user will need to download using the following method: Click the three vertical dots on the report tile > Click "Download Data" > click the "Advanced data options" dropdown > select "All Results" > click the "Download" button.
This update took effect December 14th, 2023

We have updated the data type of the following columns from Text to Number. This should help customers who want to perform calculations using these fields, because the column when downloaded and viewed in Excel will be numeric.

MANTL is preparing to make the following changes to the table type and naming of tables provided in Direct SQL. The contents of the existing DirectSQL tables will not be affected by this change. Table Type: Rather than tables, the updated Direct SQL Tables will be materialized as BigQuery Logical Views. The change in dataset type will increase the data freshness and enable greater flexibility in managing the tables' contents. Naming: The names will bring the Direct SQL nomenclature into alignment with the report names in MANTL's Console Reports. The reports currently prefixed with "v3_mantaray_legacy__..." will be provided as "raw_reports__...". The reports currently prefixed with "console_reports__..." will be provided as "simplified_reports__..." To allow users to begin transitioning from table-materialized to view-materialized datasets we will be making the view-materialized versions available alongside the existing tables, beginning on Thursday, December, 14. Reports will be available after that as both views and tables until the end of Q1 when the tables are deleted. |

This is a non-breaking change to the V3 Marketing, Product, Demographics, and KYC dashboards that adds an Application Status filter to the dashboards that applies to all tiles in the dashboards. By default all statuses are selected except Canceled. A user can add Canceled status by selecting that option as well in the filter. |
