Users of Console Reports and Analytics have historically had to interact with two different timezones. Dashboard filters were interpreted in the US Eastern time zone, while the contents of reports (e.g. the times shown in the Application Created At column in the Consumer Applications Report) were reported in Universal Time Coordinated (UTC). Beginning on Thursday, December 14, 2023, all time zones will default to US Eastern. For example, if a user sets the Consumer Applications Reports dashboard to filter to all applications created between 9:00AM December 4th, 2023 and 3:00PM December 4th, 2023, that filter will be interpreted in US Eastern time. Additionally, the formatted contents reports of the reports (e.g. the “Created At” and “Updated At” columns) will be shown in US Eastern. While the filtering functionality applies only to reports downloaded from the Console, the updated time zone formatting applies also to reports downloaded from Data Export API. Note that these changes will not apply to “raw” data shown in the Raw Reports such as the “response_payload” column in the KYC/AML Evaluations Raw Report. Users who want to filter and receive reports in a time zone other than US Eastern will also have the ability to change their time zone by selecting the three vertical dots in the top right corner of the dashboard, clicking “Each tile’s time zone”, and selecting their choice from the available options. Time zone selections made here will not be saved and need to be made each time the dashboard is accessed as illustrated in the screenshot below. This update will take effect December 14th, 2023 |
