Introduction
To facilitate a seamless online account opening experience for new and existing customers, MANTL supports industry-standard Single Sign-On (SSO) protocols, such as SAML 2.0 and OIDC (OAuth 2.0). This allows customers to easily transition in and out of MANTL and their Online Mobile Banking (OMB) provider.
Benefits for New Customers
- Eliminate the need to fill out OMB enrollment forms. An OMB can use MANTL SSO APIs to automatically enroll a new customer.
- Eliminate the expectation of the user to remember multiple sets of credentials. Customers only need to sign in to their OMB to open new accounts through MANTL.
- Improve security for users. User login credentials are managed by the OMB provider and never stored, generated by, or shared with MANTL.
- Add extra, built-in security. SAML and OIDC add extra security measures to ensure information security and privacy.
Prospective account holders who successfully complete the application process through MANTL can be automatically enrolled and provisioned in OMB. Your OMB provider can establish trust with and use MANTL as an identity provider if they support SAML 2.0 or OIDC (OAuth 2.0). OIDC supports both push and pull-based models to provide additional flexibility.
