New Features and Functionality
Additional support for adding DBAs in the Business Account Opening workflow
The Business Account Opening workflow has been improved so that applicants can now create new DBAs or add existing DBAs to their business account applications. When a new customer applies for a new business account in the self-serve experience, they can create a new DBA. When an existing customer signs in to the self-serve experience to create a new account, they can now select an existing DBA associated with their business or add a new DBA. Self-serve customers can also see their selected DBAs before submitting the application.
MANTL Console users can also select existing DBAs and create new DBAs when creating a new business account application on a customer’s behalf. Additionally, MANTL Console users can view DBAs associated with an account or organization in the Business Profile section.
Updated consumer and funding workflow logic
The review workflow for consumer applications has been updated so that the person evaluation is run first, before funding checks are attempted. This way, if an applicant fails their person evaluation, their application will be rejected after the first funding attempt, and they will not be allowed a second attempt.
New fields on the ATM Operator Questionnaire for business applications
The ATM Operator Questionnaire now includes several new fields to support gathering data on businesses that handle cryptocurrency and ATM replenishing information. Business applicants can now specify if any of their ATMs accept or deal in cryptocurrencies. They can also provide extra information when selecting Other for their Replenish Method and Schedule fields.
Important: These are only reflected in MANTL; any changes made to these fields are not reflected in your Financial Institution’s core.
New Executive Summary dashboard drill-down capability
You can now drill down into Performance by Product data on the Executive Summary dashboard in the MANTL Console. This allows you to generate reports for details on applications in various statuses in your system, making it easier to follow up on applications or track any applications in a specific status.
New Automation Rate data on dashboards
On the Performance by Product table for both the Executive Summary and KYC dashboards, you can now see and track Automation Rate data. This gives you insight into the number of applications that were automatically KYC-decisioned as approved or denied by the system versus applications that required manual review. You can then use this data to evaluate your workflows or decisioning processes to make improvements.
Additionally, the KYC tables have been removed from the Products dashboard.
Additions to the KYC/AML Evaluations Report
Several fields have been added to the KYC/AML Evaluations report for both consumer and business accounts, including:
- Person name
- Address
- Phone number
- Organization name
- Organization address
- Organization email
Added support for new email variables
Several new variables are now available to use in your Financial Institution’s banker-facing emails including:
- Organization name
- Organization ID
- Primary owner first and last name
- Product name
- Application ID
- Primary owner ID
New Alloy identity verification tags
Consumer workflows in Alloy can now be configured to trigger a documentation request for SSN and residence eligibility for new applications. Using the Proof of Eligibility tag, applicants must provide proof of residence (utility bills, insurance policies, rental agreements, deeds, etc.). Using the Proof of Social Security Number tag, applicants must provide their social security card if there is a mismatch or if the number cannot be verified between LexisNexis and Alloy.
Platform Improvements
- Handoff is now allowed for all financial institutions when an application is in Action Required status and has an open application checklist EDD questionnaire or required document to upload.
- You can now configure the copy in headers and subheaders for pages in the consumer application self-serve experience.
- Several UI/UX improvements have been made to the Address and Identity pages in the self-serve experience.
Bug Fixes

- Fixed an issue in the MANTL Console where the Business Type drop-down menu on a new business application cut off the last item in the list.
- Fixed an issue where some error messages in the self-serve experience were persisting across any subsequent pages if the user didn’t dismiss the notification.
Previous Hotfix Improvements
- Bug (7/27/2022): Fixed an issue where attempting to manually link a funding source for a business account resulted in an error.
